What Shipping Methods Are Available?
All parcels within the Netherlands are shipped by PostNL. Estimated shipping time is 1-2 days. The orders within Europe will be handled by DHL international. Delivery time depends on the country for shipping. See the list with all the European shipping times from DHL here.
What locations do you ship to?
We deliver in almost all European countries. When adding a product to your shopping cart, choose the right country and the shipping cost will be calculated automatically.
What if I would like to ship my order outside Europe?
When it’s not possible to select your country in the shopping cart. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to figure out a way to ship the order to you.
What are the shipping costs?
When products are added to your shopping cart, the shipping costs will be calculated immediately after selecting your country.
We offer free shipping on all orders above €100, – in the Netherlands and free shipping for all orders above €150, – within Europe.
Is it possible To Pick Up The Package?
Yes! You can come by our embroidery studio in Haarlem. Check the current opening hours here. To make sure we have the item on stock, please send us an email with your request at email@example.com.
How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
To stop overproduction and reduce waste, all our products will be stitched on demand in our local embroidery studio.
When you have selected your product with the right size on the product page, the shop will show you the estimated production time. Please note that this is excluding the shipping time!
ORDERS & RETURNS
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
You can pay for your order with IDeal, PayPal, SOFORT Banking, Credit Card, SEPA bookings and Klarna Afterpay. Payments to Stitch Amsterdam are safely conducted through the Mollie payment system. This guarantees that your transaction will be made securely. As soon as your payment has been received, Stitch Amsterdam will complete your order and deliver it to you within the stipulated delivery time.
Can I Make Any Changes To My Order Now It Has Been Placed?
Once your order has been placed, it is not possible to amend/add any items included in the order or change the recipient details or delivery address. However, it may be possible to cancel the order, if you email our customer service team within one hour of making the purchase.
Is It Possible To Return My Product?
You can return the products, within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason. Provided the product is undamaged and well received, we will refund the remaining costs to your account within 5 days. The costs for returning the product are for your account.
Products that are personalized on your request or specially customized and/or designed for you, can not be returned.
How do I return a product?
Please send us an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org stating the product name and your order number. Return the product undamaged (in the original packaging) within 14 days of receiving your order to address below:

Yes you can!! We have our showroom in the center of Haarlem and you are more than welcome to stop by. For the current opening hours please see this link.

QUALITY AND CARE
How should I take care of the Clothing?
Our advice and tips to help you extend the life of your Stitch Amsterdam garments:
- Refresh items in the open air as much as possible.
- Wash only when needed at a maximum of 30°C, use liquid soap instead of powdered soap to avoid stains.
- Do not tumble dry. Dry the clothes either outside or on a clothes hanger if possible.
- Repair stains or wholes with patches.
What kind of manufactures is Stitch Amsterdam working with?
The fashion industry is a dirty bastard. So we put sustainable thinking at the center of everything – that means we only choose fabrics that care for our environment and we only partner with factories that care about their impact, too.
Thereby, we try to produce as local as possible. All the embroidery artwork are stitched in Haarlem. Thereby, we often collab with our lovely neighbour tailor shop in the Netherlands, for limited items. Like our baby swallow blanket, polar bear jacket & muslin swaddle.
What do you mean with GOTS certificated?
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. A product can only be certified when the entire production chain, from harvesting to the finished product, meets the requirements. A Stitch Amsterdam product carrying the GOTS label contains a minimum of 95% certified organic cotton fibres.

Yes, we do! We’ve collaborated with numerous corporate companies with amazing results. Have a look at some of our collaboration examples. We differentiate ourselves by taking great care so that the embroidery stands out. We use high quality and sustainable materials with a personal touch. Can I order a custom stitch design?
Custom embroidery designed by Stitch Amsterdam is only available for businesses with larger quantity orders. Setting up unique designs is time consuming and it simply becomes too costly for single item orders. Creating bulk custom orders simply makes a lot more sense for both parties.
I saw some items in the store and I can’t find them online, how can I order them?
We do at times create limited edition items which you can only find in our store. However, feel free to email us via email@example.com. Please let us know the product/item you have in mind and we’ll have a look to see if we can create and ship the items to you.
Are there more color sweaters/t-shirts/items available?
Can I bring my own garments for embroidery?
Unfortunately, no. Our sustainable garments are carefully selected for our embroidery studio to produce the highest quality outcome.
Why are you not Stitch Haarlem, instead of Stitch Amsterdam?
Stitch was born in Amsterdam and we will always be proud of our roots there. Afterall, Amsterdam is one of the biggest inspirations for the business. We eventually came across an incredible opportunity to combine our studio with a boutique shop. The location we found was in the loveliest street of Haarlem, De Kleine Houtstraat 18. We quickly fell in love with Haarlem and we even created a special Haarlem mugje design to celebrate the city and its people.
